Dr. David Tang-Wai Appointed Interim Executive Director of TDRA

TDRA warmly welcomes Dr. David Tang-Wai as the Interim Executive Director as of October 1, 2024.

As the search begins to appoint the next Executive Director following Dr. Tarek Rajji’s departure to the US, Dr. Tang-Wai will bring the experience and stability needed during an interim period given his in-depth knowledge and involvement in TDRA.

Dr. Tang-Wai is the Department Division Director for Neurology in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto (U of T). He is also Professor in Neurology and Geriatric Medicine at U of T, Co-Director of the University Health Network Memory Clinic, and a clinical investigator at the Krembil Brain Institute.

Dr. Tang-Wai is currently serving as the chair of TDRA’s Scientific Advisory Committee, a member of the TDRA Research Operating Committee, and a member of Memory Clinic Working Group.
