TDRA Exhibits at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair Nov 3-12, 2023!

One of TDRA's mandates is to engage the public in learning more about, and participating in, dementia research being conducted across member hospital sites.

To that end, TDRA exhibited at the 2023 Royal Agricultural Winter Fair, which took place November 3-12, 2023, at Exhibition Place in Toronto.

TDRA staff and representatives from research studies featured on the Alzheimer Society of Toronto/TDRA co-managed Toronto Dementia Network (TDN) site, engaged over 500 members of the public in meaningful dialogue. Interaction included exploring the TDN site for research opportunities, signing up for the TDRA newsletter, perusing printed materials from the Alzheimer Society, and others. Fair attendees also had the opportunity to complete an online survey and - if they were lucky - trial various brain research technologies that were displayed at the booth at select times.
