Testing an Online Brain Health Assessment on Mobile and Tablet Devices

Full study title: Mobile/Tablet Validation of the Cogniciti Brain Health Assessment

What is the study about?

This study measures how well an online brain health assessment works on mobile devices. The assessment includes different memory and attention tasks that are done on a mobile/tablet/computer that are used to measure brain health. An addition one session study to further support the desktop Brain Health Assessment is also available for participants.

Eligibility- Who can participate?

Participants must:

  • Be between the ages of 20-35, 50-65 or 80-95
  • Be fluent in English
  • Have no significant concerns about memory, and have no mild cognitive impairment, vascular dementia, Huntington’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, any cancer treated with chemotherapy, brain tumour, Parkinson’s disease, schizophrenia, or current depression   
  • Have access to a mobile/tablet and/or a computer
  • Be comfortable using a mobile or tablet and/or a computer and have internet access

Time requirement

  • Total duration 30-60 mins spread over a week
  • Two assessments that take 15-20 minutes each
    • Assessment 1 – Day 1
    • Assessment 2 – 1 week later
  • Optional: additional assessment session on a desktop
