About the TDRA, Announcements, Research

The TDRA is proud to announce an agreement on a standard clinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) protocol for dementia across partner sites. This protocol was developed by leading neurologists and neuroradiologists from across our partner hospitals.

MRI brain scans are commonly used to aid in the diagnosis of dementia. The new standardized MRI protocol is designed to help doctors detect changes in the brain associated with dementia, which will improve their ability to diagnose the cause of dementia in their patients.

This protocol will be made available to neurologists at TDRA partner sites, with eventual expansion to other clinical sites.
